C.G. Foreign Language High School was
founded in 1999, and is located in the
picturesque I "Jianye City Garden",
in the eastern part of Zhengzhou City.
The high school is recognized internationally
and is affiliated with the Australian
international English Application Association.
"To be a bold Chinese!" is the
school motto and inspirit every student
in our school. Senior CPC leaders Huang
Ju, and Xu
Jialu have carried out inspections of
our school and have great pride in the
achievements we attained.
Educational
Principles
Our guiding direction in the development
of our school is "Individuality,
Diversity, Internationalization".
Our educational network integrates scientific
teaching methods and modern educational
technology such as multimedia, Internet
and satellite broadcasting. 88.5% of the
first group of the high school graduates
are enrolled in universities and the school
was No.7 among 80 schools in the city
according to the students’ marks in the
Provincial High School Entrance Exam.
Excellent Teaching
Staff
Our school employs six experienced foreign
ESL teachers from the United States, Canada
and Australia. Since our foundation, we
have taken two key teaching innovation
tasks of National Chinese Teaching Researching
Committee and have been awarded more than
200 educational researching rewards at
international, national, provincial and
municipal level. In addition, academic
magazines have published our teaching
and researching achievements repeatedly.
Humanistic Environment
Our school promotes a harmonious environment
for both the students and the teachers.
While retaining the traditional Chinese
virtues of education, English is emphasized
and used as the medium of instruction
in many academic lectures and discussions.
Every year, the school invites many middle
school students from western countries
for cultural exchange. In return, our
school also organizes its own summer or
winter camps to the United Kingdom and
Australia.
Future Opportunities
Our school concentrates on developing
an international and individual education
for our students. This ensures that our
students can compete internationally and
are also encouraged to develop their own
special abilities. By cooperating with
several European and American educational
organizations, we have built up diverse
channels for the students to study abroad.
Currently, more than 100 students have
gone to eight different countries for
higher education.
